Building Story

In 2018, the Community Cornerstone was gifted to Hope Church by the AZ-One Board. The Board recognized the desire of our church to reach the broken and lost people of our community. They saw the potential that gifting this facility could be and unanimously chose to give us this generous gift.

Since taking ownership, we were able to finish the main level, a project AZ-One had begun and utilize the building in a variety of ways.

In 2020, this facility began to serve a much greater purpose for Hope Church when we lost the ability to gather in the Marion Ross Theatre because of the pandemic. It became our sole facility for services, classes, and live streaming. We quickly knew that while it was a blessing it was not a long-term solution because of the limitations for multi-generational ministry.

In February 2021, we purchased the adjoining building to the Community Cornerstone at 242 S. Broadway. This launched us into a building campaign & construction project to transform these two downtown buildings into one multigenerational ministry facility to serve our church and community.

Current Update

We are excited to announce renovations in our facility are moving forward! Construction has been slowly progressing since spring 2021.

We are currently holding our Sunday services in the Marion Ross Theatre, downtown Albert Lea.  Hope Kids & Nursery are offered every Sunday for ages 0-12. While we are grateful for this option, we are looking forward to a place where we can put down roots and offer even more opportunities in the new facility!.

Current Needs

Our Restore Hope Building Project is well in-progress through the generous donations of many! While we have been able to fund the project thus far, we still have a long way until it is complete. Our hope is that we will be able to  fully furnish and supply a three level 15,000 square foot ministry facility for every generation without a mortgage! If the Lord is laying it on your heart to give, you can find the link below. We also need  volunteer help, please check out how you can get involved below.

Volunteer Opportunity

Construction has begun and we need help! We now have opportunities  for people to lend a hand on various projects as  build up, clean up, decorate, and furnish our facility. Many hands make light work! Join the team by texting "PROJECT" to 507-473-2322
