Those who have Hurt You

PRAY
God, it is difficult to pray for the people who have hurt me, today I acknowledge what your Word says, “Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you” Luke 6:27b-28. So Lord, help me to show love. Help me to bless those who have hurt me. Father, would you be with those who I feel are enemies. Provide for them, encourage them, bless their work, their families, and their relationships. I pray that I would forgive them as you have forgiven me, again and again. Help me to surrender my emotions and feelings of hurt and to live in freedom. I pray that no roots of bitterness would find their place in my heart. Bring your healing to my hurt. And Lord, where it is possible, I pray for the relationship to be restored by your grace. I again pray for humble hearts to admit wrongdoing and to offer forgiveness. In the relationships that cannot be reconciled, I ask for peace in my life and in theirs.
