We often turn on a show to relax and unwind… but what if it was a door that the enemy is using to shift your values, beliefs, and convictions away from the Lord and what the Bible says? Today, we pray that the enemy’s work through TV shows would lose power. We ask that those who are watching unsavory television to have the conviction of the Holy Spirit to turn them off and not return to this common and easily accepted vice. Lord, we pray for believers to have higher standards when it comes to what they are viewing and discernment on the things they allow their family and children to watch.

I pray for the decision makers of big networks to come to know Jesus and let all their decisions be influenced by the Holy Spirit. May shows that fill our minds with things of this world be cancelled and lose favor while wholesome shows grow in popularity. We thank you for shows like “The Chosen” that make God’s Word come to life and we pray for a blessing on all those producing God honoring content.
